Here is a simple recipe for chicken wraps that you can make at home:
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large tortilla wraps
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced cucumbers
- Sliced red onions
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush the chicken breasts with the oil mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
4. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Then slice it into thin strips.
6. In another small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and dijon mustard.
7. Lay out the tortilla wraps and spread the mayonnaise-mustard mixture evenly on each wrap.
8. Layer the lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and chicken strips on top of the wraps.
9. Roll up the wraps tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
10. Cut the wraps in half and serve.
You can also add other toppings such as avocado, cheese, or your favorite sauces for more flavor. Enjoy your homemade chicken wraps!
