Beef Masala Kaleji Recipe in English
Ingredients for soaking:
Beef liver 1/2 kg
Vinegar 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Water as required
Ingredients for gravy:
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Tomato puree 1 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
Green chilies for garnish
Coriander fresh for garnish
Directions:
Take beef liver and cut into cube shape. In a bowl of water mix vinegar, salt and ginger garlic paste.
Add liver cubes in it and soak for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse it off with water and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and sauté it for a minute. Add onion and cook until translucent.
Now add tomato puree, salt, turmeric, red chili powder and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until oil separates.
Add soaked liver in it, mix well and cook on high flame for 5 to 6 minutes. Add water as required and cook until oil appears.
Lastly add yogurt, cumin powder, coriander powder, mix well and cook on low flame for 10 to 12 minutes.
Garnish it with green chilies, coriander and serve delicious beef kaleji.
Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
Cooking time: 25-30 minutes
Serving: 4-5 persons
